My passion for hair ignited early, leading me to attend NW College School of Beauty in 2012. I graduated with a full license in Cosmetology; a combination of hair, esthetics, and nails. I was stoked to start my career!

Right away I began full time hair with Bishops Barbershop in the heart of the Alphabet District. Here I developed confidence and techniques through experience and continued education classes. This upbeat shop allowed me to practice a wide range of edgy haircuts, vibrant haircolor, and creative ideas. I developed strong attention to detail and care for clean lines. After growing my portfolio and cultivating clientele, I decided to work independently and start my small business in 2017. After a year in a solo studio I found my home for the next 5+ years at Moda Studios. Here I was able to hone my skills and find my rhythm as an independent contractor. Here we had a simple modern space that allowed me to host a clean semi-private experience during the uncertain years of the Covid Pandemic. This time period was very challenging as a personal service provider. I am incredibly grateful to have been established with a such a strong small group of stylists during this chapter of my career. Unfortunately in June of 2024, Moda Studios in Portland closed and was absorbed into their Beaverton location. It was time to reenergize and find my new hair home!

Currently I have two stations. Most of my week I’m styling at Heyday Salon in inner NE Portland near Moda Center. We are a collective of hair artists in a cheerful and creative workspace who are proud to host a safe inclusive environment for all. My love for barbering has continued at Cloak & Dagger Barbershop on N Williams where I offer classic fades, beard shaping, and hot towel straight razor shaves. Visit me there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

Outside of the salon you’ll find me exploring with my dog, Prim. I also love to play softball and volleyball with friends, see performances with my besties, and videogames with my amazing partner Adam. When I find the time I also enjoy reading books and creating art in solitude. Hearing what my clients are interested in and passionate about leaves me feeling inspired to always try new things. Life is meant to be enjoyed, let’s do it together.
